What to expect at your first appointment:
Before your first appointment, we encourage all patients to attend one of Dr. Tara’s Health Awareness Seminars, held every Tuesday from 7 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. This seminar will give you an opportunity to meet Dr. Tara, learn what chiropractic is and how Inner Balance operates so you have adequate information to decide if chiropractic fits your healthcare needs.
 
At Inner Balance chiropractic, you will have the most thorough examination of your life! Your first visit to our office begins with an office tour so you are acquainted with everything we have to offer and feel comfortable in the environment.
 
Dr. Tara will then do a detailed case history review to obtain all the information necessary for your care. Then Dr. Tara will perform non-invasive computer thermal scans and surface EMG scans to get a clear picture of how your nervous system is performing. This is followed by a complete spinal physical exam. If Dr. Tara determines that x-rays are necessary, you will be sent with the required paperwork to Lakeland to have them taken.
 
On your second visit, you will watch a video about health and chiropractic. It illustrates how you can get healthier and the role chiropractic plays in helping you obtain that goal. This will help you understand your Report of Findings when Dr. Tara explains it to you.
Dr. Tara will then present a written report of your exam and will provide recommendations for your care. After you make a decision, you will begin your regular adjustments!
